Over the last several years we have lost three long time guest favorite restaurants in Boonsboro due to a number of reasons. Vesta’s Pizzeria, Dan’s Restaurant & Tap House, and the Old South Mountain Inn are all closed. But, we excited to say that three more have started up and are quickly becoming ‘go to’ places for a great meal.

First up is Jeovani’s Pizzeria.(at the site of Vesta’s) Jeovani’s is located in the heart of Boonsboro with a cozy atmosphere welcoming guests with a menu mouth watering dishes. They have an endless selection of pizza and salads, great appetizers, desserts and your traditional Italian classic meals. Jeovani’s is a great place for lunch or a casual dinner during your stay. They have a full service bar, offer catering and online ordering.

Directions: Travel east 6.7 miles from the Inn on Route 34, or the Shepherdstown Pike.  Turn right into parking area before the redlight. (Click here for Google Maps)

Dan’s Restaurant and Tap House closed it’s doors in early 2023 and before the end of the year, a fresh coat of paint was going up on the outside of the building. We are so pleased that our friends Steve and Lori Kemmet, (owners of Captain Bender’s Tavern) have expended to create a finer dining experience with The Admiral.

The Admiral restaurant and bar is an excellent addition to our local dining scene. The menu, from appetizers to dessert is incredible. They have crab soup, lobster mac and cheese, escargot, scallops, duck, mushrooms and more! They are all excellent, including the desserts.
