History of Sharpsburg & Our Inn
The history of our old house has been traced through deeds and probate court records of Washington County back to an 1804 deed from Joseph Chapline II to Jane Ferguson. The information in our Inn History blog post on the Chapline family is taken from “The History of Sharpsburg” by Lee Barron.
